At Anderson Equine, we specialize in fostering deep, trust-based partnerships between horses and humans through comprehensive horsemanship, foundational groundwork, and liberty training. Our approach centers on understanding and reading horse behavior to create safe, confident connections built on clarity, respect, and communication. We emphasize groundwork as the essential foundation for building trust and clear communication, knowing that what is established on the ground directly translates to improved safety, responsiveness, and behavior under saddle. Through specialized lessons, clinics, and personalized training programs, we empower riders to work with their horses in freedom—both on the ground and in the saddle—developing confident partnerships that thrive in any environment.

Anderson Equine’s lesson program brings together students of all ages and experience levels, offering the opportunity to develop both riding ability and strong horsemanship skills. Whether you are a brand-new rider, an intermediate rider building on existing skills, or an experienced rider continuing your education, we provide thoughtful instruction for students ages six and up.

Riders begin by developing strong fundamentals on the flat while learning essential horsemanship skills. As riders progress and demonstrate solid foundations. Beginning riders start with private lessons to build confidence and independence, learning to groom, tack, and ride comfortably at the walk and trot before advancing further in the program.
